Acoustic Curved Air Biography
Curved Air as an electric full band were one of the groundbreaking progressive UK Rock bands in1970 along with their contemporaries such as YES, and Genesis. 
The band toured all over the world in the 1970s including the USA as support artists for Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, and BB King on huge stadium tours.
The band fronted by one of the first female rock band vocalist the exotic Sonja Kristina and they went  on to achieve 3 top 20 albums. 
After several line-up changes in the mid-1970s including Stewart Copland playing drums, who later went on to form The Police, Continued touring to rapturous audiences all over the world.
In recent times the electric band were booked as special guests to tour Brazil with Renaissance in 2020.
Unfortunately, the pandemic lock down prevented the tour from going ahead and in 2022 when the band were asked if they could resume the tour of Brazil with a scaled down line up, it was at this point that Acoustic Curved Air was born.
The success in Brazil, and the audience’s reactions, encouraged the band to keep the trio going for special projects including the USA package tour with Asia, Focus, and Martin Turner ( Ex Wishbone Ash.) 
The Acoustic Curved Air 3-piece line up was born, including Sonja Kristina on Vocals and Guitar, Kirby Gregory on Guitar ( former Member of Curved Air in 1972/3 and later went on to form Stretch ) and Grzegorz Gadziomski on Violin.
The trio having crafted, and adapted, many of the iconic electric Curved Air repertoire of songs and are now looking forward to bringing the Curved Air legacy in Semi-Acoustic form to a range of new audiences in the USA, South America, and Europe.
