regarding The Farewell UK Tour 2026
It is with regret that, due to previously unforeseen heath circumstances, which require urgent hospital treatment for a member of the band, we are forced to postpone the August / September 2026 tour dates of Curved Air's Farewell Tour.
It is with regret that, due to previously unforeseen heath circumstances, which require urgent hospital treatment for a member of the band, we are forced to postpone the August / September 2026 tour dates of Curved Air's Farewell Tour.
We
apologise for the obvious disappointment and inconvenience, and we look forward
to performing re-scheduled shows in August / September 2027. Please retain your
tickets, as these will remain valid for the re-scheduled dates.
The band
unfortunately also needs to withdraw from festival appearances during this
period.
Beautiful demonic violin - Tremendous musicianship - and the exotic presence of lead singer Sonja Kristina Curved Air are an English progressive rock group formed in 1970 by musicians from mixed artistic backgrounds, including classical, folk and electronic sound. The resulting sound of the band is a mixture of progressive rock, folk rock, and fusion with classical elements. Curved Air released eight studio albums, the first three of which broke into the Top 20 in the UK Albums Chart, and had a hit single with "Back Street Luv" (1971) which reached number 4 in the UK Singles Chart.
